The Chairman Kh. B. A. Kichloo , Who was having great flair for the development of Education has constructed a magnificent three Storey RCC building in a space of 11,860sft. and in order to diversify the academic activities of the Trust, he decided to set up a College of Education namely Islamia Faridiya College of Education, Chenab Valley, Kishtwar, with boarding and lodging facilities for imparting instruction in B.Ed Course.

On the recommendation of the inspection committee comprises experts in the field of education the college was granted temporary affiliation by the University of Jammu. Hence the College of Education was established in 2001 and 10 batches of students qualified the B.Ed Exam upto the Session 2010-11 from the University of Jammu. The campus area of the institution is 10 kanals 3 marlas land owned by the Trust. A separate building as office of the Principal of the College has been constructed. The dimensions of the Principal's room, Lecture rooms, Staff room with toilet, multipurpose halls, recreation rooms, common rooms (separate for Boys and Girls) and toilets are as per norms of the University. The building of the college is well maintained.

Three spacious science labs one each for Physics, Chemistry and biology science have been establishment with sufficient instruments and chairs.

COMPUTER LAB:

Under the supervision of Mr. Khalid Hussain (Lecturer Computer Sciences ) A computer lab with 20 computers(wi_fi connectivity to 10 systems) and three Printers has been established in the Institution.

The location of the Girls hostel is in the campus.A female Teacher(Faiza Akhter Lect. Education) of the college Functions as warden of the hostel. The three storey hostel is moderated designed with 25 rooms. The intake Capacity of the Girls Hostel is 75 boarders. A separate Guest room is constructed. The hostel premises including mess is highly hygienic and well maintained. The mess of the Hostel is run by the students on co-operative basis. Only vegetarian meal is served in the Girls Hostel.

The College has also established canteen in the campus with adequate number of chairs, tables and provisions. The Canteen has also a vending machine for coffee / tea.

VCR, TV, Digital & Overhead Projector, Tape Recorder,Handy Cam(2 nos., Laptop, Tata phton(Plus) Computer and other teaching aids i.e. Maps, Charts model etc are available in the college for use at the appropriate time.
